PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
This course imparts the basic skills on the environmental management skills such as EMS application, sustainable practices, energy efficiency and waste management control. Today’s workforce especially in various sectors(i.e. transportation, building, faci lities management, IT, processing, electrical and manufacturing,)needs to understand and circumvent environmentalissues in order to sustain and be competitive.As such, this course focuses on safemanagement, Carbon footprint, Sustainable development, Design of sustainable environment,CSR, energy Audit and green energy. This course is vital for today’s circumstance for varioussectors including health care, pharmaceutical, services, manufacturing, process, engineering. The candidates completing this course can take up position in relhotel and vant to EM system, deputy environmental , Energy officer, EM control executives and so on.

Learning Objective
- Develop qualities to use basic Environmental control tools from established EMS system,
- Develop and execute 4R –Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle,
- Understand and perform the safety and risk management activities such as risk identification, analysis, matrix, assessment and control measures
- Identity, design and adopt Waste Management system depending on the relevant sector.
- Able to understand the Sustainable practices, Green Energy, Energy Audit, BCA Greenmark schemes, Global sustainable issues.
Entry Requirements :
Minimum Grade E in any 3 GCE A Level including English and 2 Science subjects or equivalent (OR)
For International candidate should have Higher Secondary School equivalent (for e.g. - India school education "12th Standard") with subjects pass in English and Science. (OR)
Minimum C6 in any 3 GCE O Level including English and 2 Science subjects (Grade C6 and above) with minimum 3 years working experience in Engineering field. (OR)
For International candidate should have Secondary School equivalent (for e.g. - India school education 10th Standard) with subjects pass in English and Science with minimum 3 years working experience in engineering field. (OR)
Matured candidate with other relevant certificate qualification with 8 years relevant work experience (for only local students)
